speaking of pianos,

I bought one today! My parents called me while I was in NY (all last week - I'll update about that too), saying they put money in my account for my graduation present.

I went to Guitar Center today, and bought a deliciously beautiful Casio Privia PX310. 88 weighted keys. She sounds SO real! Yes, it's a girl. Yes, I named her Astrid. So far, I have played a lot of French music (Yann Tiersen) and some vampire music (Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by JSBach). I am ecstatic. She is Powerbook silver. 88 keys!!!

I just bought myself a microkorg. Nein on the weighted keys but it's a delicious sounding fellah. "It" because it walks like a woman but talks like a man. Lola will be the name.

  2. Haha! Congratulations. I love Korgs! I played with one 2 summers ago (it had a vocoder) and I still think about it wistfully.

I was worried you wouldn't reply because I didn't realize when I posted that all of these entries were from 2006, but yay! I have to say, you as super milk chan, it's pretty cute. But did you drool?

  4. Lucky!!

I get all my comments emailed to me :)

I didn't drool, much to nobody's chagrin, haha! That was about it though. I spent so much time on that outfit, I should do something equally ridiculous this year I think... any ideas?

  5. Yes, but of course.
You could be Haruko if you only could find a blue Rickenbacker bass...but those are pricey, and I'd have to steal you.. You could be Leeloo from the 5th Element, if you're willing to dress like that. You could be Deedee from Dex's Lab, or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or you could get your eyeballs tattooed blue and be a Fremen. Or you could be Hobbes. I'm gonna be Calvin.
