I just came back from a long and freezing cold walk to Hasted Hunt Gallery in Chelsea. I heard about the Jean-Paul Goude exhibit in Artkrush, and today was the only day I could have gone before it was over (17 February). What a wonderful exhibit! The colors were rich, the scenes were extravagant and the faces were familiar (Grace Jones, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano and Linda Evangelista, among others). I truly loved this, and it's FREE. Go see it, you won't be disappointed.

ReplyDeleteThis looks fabulous. I noticed it was rated highly on both 'Brilliant' and 'Highbrow' axes in New York magazine's approval matrix. The polar opposite, in fact, of Norbit.
